NFRA Hall of Fame: What's Happening

NFRA Hall of Fame

The National Flag Racing Association Hall of Fame was established in 2018 with Billy Cochran emerging as the inaugural inductee. Dan Griffith joined the Hall of Fame in 2019 while Jim Pitcock was added in 2020. The first horse to be inducted into the NFRA Hall of Fame was Rock, owned by Leo Miller, in 2019 while Bunny Bred was added in 2020. ​Johnny Johnson and his horse Streamline Hank were inducted in 2021. Illinois flag racer Steve Hilleson and Tennessee horse Regal were added in 2022. New inductees are announced each year at the NFRA Championship Finals during Labor Day weekend.
